St. Andrew's By-the-Sea continues to serve the community as a place of solace and solitude; a place for spiritual direction, counsel, confession and prayer. The doors of our chapel are always open. We honor a reputation for being a space where the community can gather and care for one another.    

We also serve as a place where support groups in faith can meet and assist one another. Our capacity to serve is greatly enhanced by a magnificent, fully-equipped kitchen (industrial size) and large St. Andrew's Hall. These spaces are available for rent for receptions (weddings, gatherings) and events.

The Hall can accommodate more than 300 people and is available for use by other groups and individuals. All are subject to the approval of the Facilities Use Committee and/or the Rector and availability.

Generally, the church and chapel are only rented for weddings. The Rector in consultation with the Vestry may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. For example, The Virginia Choral Society performed a Family Festival of Christmas Carols in the church.
